Noora Pelto-Aho

Noora Pelto-Aho began her violin studies at the East Helsinki Music Institute at the age of six. After completing her studies there, she moved to the Päijät-Häme Conservatory to study under Pertti Sutinen, and a few years later, she continued her studies at the Royal College of Music in London. However, her studies in London lasted only a year, as she decided to try playing the viola.

In 2001, Pelto-Aho transferred to the Sibelius Academy, first studying under Jouko Mansnerus and later under Helge Valtonen in the viola class. Two years later, she began working with the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Pelto-Aho graduated with a master's degree in music in 2006.
