Tasty Tones series - Delicacies from composers plates

Our autumn novelty series is an essay in taste! What did Berlioz eat while writing his Symphonie fantastique? What would you have found on the plates of Italian composers? And which foods did Sibelius enjoy? Music scholar Susanna Välimäki explores composers’ culinary preferences at a talk before each concert in the series, with a chance to sample delicacies related to the night’s programme.

Series includes four concerts during the Autumn season 2017 and tasting menus with introductions by Susanna Välimäki.
