Baroque music in the Cathedral

In the concert Music in the Cathedral in febryary we will hear the brilliance of Baroque music.

The concert starts with Johann Pachelbel´s Canon that is a hit among Baroque music and has a recognisable theme. In addition the concert features three concertos from Antonio Vivaldi and Johann Sebastian Bach´s Suite in G minor (parts) and Brandenburg Concerto no. 3.

The programme is planned by and the soloists are Turku Philharmonic Orchestra´s musicians Juha-Pekka Vikman, violin, Maija Kontunen, violin, Vesa-Pekka Kopakkala, trumpet, Megumi Nakazawa, trumpet and Anu Honkanen, piccolo.

The length of the concert is approx. 1 h. No intermission.
