Leif Segerstam and Pekka Kuusisto The Winners April 5th

Leif Segerstam and Pekka Kuusisto shine in this concert. Together they will take on Stravinsky's neoclassicistic violin concerto. The concert starts with Sebastian Fagerlunds prized piece "Isola" and the evening is concluded with Dmitri Shostakovich's first symphony

Santtu-Matias Rouvali conducts the Easter concert on march 29th

On Good Friday the Philharmonic orchestra in Turku will play an impressive program of music by Mussorsky, Tchaikovsky and Wagner. The orchestra is directed by the young and vibrant Santtu-Matias Rouvali.
