A diverse concert to begin March. The works on the programme share an interest in the colourful variety of human interaction and wonderment at the human condition, according to the performers. Romantic duets by Brahms and a work by Hindemith based on an English nursery rhyme are inventively arranged for the ensemble at hand. Sermilä’s Mechanical partnerships and Busseuil’s L’arbre de Vie provide an interesting frame for the newest work on the programme, Zapata’s Camera Obscura.
