Psst! This one's already gone.

Genius!

David Niemann, conductor
Lukas Geniušas, piano

Pyotr Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No 2
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Symphony no. 36 C major K. 425 ”Linz”

Young charmers David Niemann, who became second in Malko Competition, and pianist Lukas Geniušas, who became second in Tchaikovsky Competition, present fresh energy. Tchaikovsky's 2nd piano concerto belongs with its energy and brilliance to the mest played piano concertos. Mozart composed his light symphony in the town of Linz in four days on his way home from Salzburg to Vienna.

N.B.! There has been a change in the programme. Instead of Shostakovich's 2nd piano concerto and Ligeti's Romanian Concerto, we will hear Tchaikovsky's concerto.

The length of the concert is approx. 2 h.
