Operas Cavalleria rusticana and Pajazzo bring great emotions to Turku

Pietro Mascagnin Cavalleria rusticana and Ruggero Leoncavallon Pajazzo form the most performed double-bill in the world. The performances will feature great emotions: jealousy, revenge and forgiveness. Premiere is on the Åbo Svenska Teater main stage on 8.4.2021. The operas are producesd in cooperation with Åbo Svenska Teater and Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Turun filharmoninen orkesteri. There will be ten performances together during spring 2021.

Director of the opera is Tuomas Parkkinen and Jonas Rannila will conduct the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Costume and setup designer is Pirjo Liiri-Majava. In the roles we will see:
